Zakaria BELFKIRA Industrial Processes Mechanical Engineer
Mr. Zakaria BELFKIRA is a Mechanical Process Design Engineer at the Technology Development Cell (TechCell) a department of Mohammed VI polytechnic University. After graduating from Mohammadia School of Engineers (EMI) in 2012 as a Mechanical Engineer specialized in Integrated Conception and Production (CPI), he started his career as a structural design engineer for the Airbus A350 XWB cockpit at Safran Engineering Services (SES). After two years, he was promoted to the position of Junior Project Manager where he managed different projects in relation of the Structural Repair Manuals (SRM) for the aircraft Thrust Reverse Unit (TRU) in the same company.
Prior to his appointment as a Mechanical Engineer for Process Industry at TechCell, he was in charge of the installation and commissioning of a cement griding and conditioning unit at Laayoune in the Moroccan Sahara. During this experience, he supervised the different projects phases beginning from the construction of civil engineering buildings, manufacturing and mechanical assembly and electrical works until arriving to the performance tests and final commissioning, gathering together a very rich set of skills in different industrial disciplines. In parallel to his engineering career, Mr. BELFKIRA has also many contributions to scientific research about the aerodynamic of wind turbines and the use of natural fibers in the composite structure of wind turbines blades.
